What We're Looking For: An enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Recreation Manager to help lead, train, and develop the recreation team. In this role, you'll drive a culture of service excellence and guest safety while supporting a wide array of engaging recreational experience. Who You Are: * A confident and professional leader with hands-on expertise in pool operations, safety and service protocols, and team development * A strong communicator and motivating leader who can train, and support recreation team members in a fast paced- guest facing environment * A confident leader with hands-on expertise in pool operations, safety protocols, and team development. * A skilled communicator and presenter who can inspire and coach team members effectively. * Organized and efficient, capable of managing multiple priorities and maintaining compliance with safety and service standards. * Committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment. What You Will Do: * Assist in overseeing daily operations for Recreation, Fitness Center, and Safety Programs-ensuring alignment with brand standards and guest expectations. * Serve as the acting Recreation Manager in their absence. * Manage and monitor all pool and recreation activities, including guest programs, and towel service * Lead training of all recreation team members. * Foster internal awareness and promotion of recreation offerings to maximize guest engagement and revenue opportunities. * Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality across all recreational areas * Lead monthly staff meetings and training sessions to reinforce safety protocols and service standards. * Analyze trends and guest feedback to evolve our recreational offerings and enhance satisfaction. * Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance Your Experience Includes: * Must be able to swim and be comfortable in and around water for an entire shift * Must be able to complete and maintain current Lifeguard certification to include written and practical exams * Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays * Must complete monthly in-service training requirements * Must hold clean motor vehicle driving record upon request * High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is preferred * Licensed Lifeguard Instructor certification preferred |
