Maintenance Tech. 2nd shift

The purpose of this position is to perform multi-skilled duties in the maintenance and repair of campus buildings, off campus housing and plant equipment. This is a second shift position hours are from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. This position is classified as essential personnel during inclement weather and school closings.

Duties:

Perform maintenance and replace filters on college HVAC systems along with greasing and replacing bearings and pulleys as needed

Inspect and replace bulbs and perform light electrical repairs across campus

Answer trouble calls and make necessary repairs

Log work hours and a description of work done and material used on Work Orders.

Regularly scheduled on-call duty required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

NC driver's license is required.

3-5 years work experience.
