Position Overview

The Quality Inspector will support the Quality Department's efforts to improve outgoing product quality and department efficiency throughout the operation.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Perform start-up and in-process verification checks and document results.
  • Perform receiving inspections and documents results.
  • Perform shipping and system audits as requested.
  • Communicate out-of-specification findings to Production Lead.
  • Assist Quality Manager, Engineer and Technicians with evaluation of quality issues.
  • Generate reports and records as requested.
  • Participate in plant-wide safety efforts.
  • Provide plant-wide support
  • Other duties as requested.

Experience and Qualifications

Education
High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience


Experience
Experience with blueprint reading
Previous Quality experience preferred


Specific skills
Ability to effectively gather and present information
Ability to use stereoscope and hand tools* Attention to detail
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Strong interpersonal skills
Proven problem solving, teamwork and organizational skills
