Product Manager

We are looking for a Cable Product Manager to proactively introduce cable solutions into various of Super Micro's servers and storage systems, based on market opportunities. The cable product manager will provide product support for electrical, mechanical, thermal aspects, and troubleshoot issues as needed. The cable product manager must also be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

* Participate in cross-functional operations teams, including Engineering, Commodity Management, Supply Chain, and Quality teams

* Partner closely with design engineering and operation's technical teams to assess and drive all program risks

* Plan and drive execution of engineering development builds through ramp up

* Review vendor product specification and perform product qualification plan then enter data accurately from a variety of sources into the company's database systems

* Support Sales, Engineering, and Procurement on customer related cable issues

* Manage development with System team need for cable solutions

* Demonstrate leadership to manage a small team of product managers if needed

* Bachelor's Degree / Master Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least three years of relevant working experiences preferred

* Minimum 5 years' of experience and familiar with cable solutions for Server/Storage products is preferred

* Program/Project Management experience is a plus

* Ability to create positive relationships with internal and external team members

* Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

* Understand high-speed cable and power safety regulation and RoHS specification for worldwide customers

$100,000 - $150,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
