Op Excellence Coordinator

Aptar is seeking anOps Excellence Coordinatorbased in Cary, IL. This position is fully onsite. This role as the OE Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the systematic application of Lean/AOS tools and completion of assigned projects. Resources and support for the tools will come from the support of designated department managers lead by the OE Coordinator. The greatest opportunity for challenge and innovation will be effectively building lean culture, developing capability, and leading local resources to success through influence. Directly reports to the CI Manager.

As an Ops Excellence Coordinator, you will:

• Train workforce on problem solving, AOS CI tools and other lean concepts
• Report and enter existing KPI's into appropriate tracking systems
• Facilitate cross functional CI teams on total cost issues
• Identify, scope, prioritize and leverage opportunities
• Track QRQC/A3 progress, cost savings and other plant improvement actions
• Promote and communicate point kaizen activity internally and externally
• Assist shop floor CI teams via facilitation and documentation
• Coordinate preparation and planning for the site's AOS Site Self Evaluation
• Interface with other CI team members and leaders for external support
• Assist in preparation ofthe site's yearly cost savings and improvement plan
• Must be able to travel between facilities that are a part of the Campus
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required. This position will haveconstant interaction with safety, quality, production, maintenance, and outside vendors. Must possess the ability to speak and present to groups and communicate with all levels in the plant. Capable of delivering results through a position of influence, not authority.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required; 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing (Internships accepted if applicable).

Required Skills

• Ability to lead a group team through influence with the support of a Coach.
• Working knowledge of one or more Lean tools (i.e. 5S, Standard Work, Performance Management, Problem solving, etc).
• Good communicator.
• Highly motivated and can work from own initiative within broadly scoped position.
• Exceptional Computer Skills/Proficiency: MS Office Suite, Teams, Outlook, SAP, MS Project and CAD
• Six Sigma Certified (Black Belt preferred, minimum greenbelt - working towards Blackbelt).
• Establish and track KPI's.
• Participate on Regional Continuous Improvement teams.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $66,500 - $90,000 per year. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
