Aptar is seeking a Stock Handler (3rd Shift) based in Cary, IL. This position is fully onsite. This role is responsible for the total production process through the finished goods stage as well as for product safety and the quality of goods produced.
Shift Hours: 12:20am - 8:30am, Monday - Friday
As a Stock Handler You Will:
- Orders component parts through computer entry.
- Delivers component parts to workstations by hand and using a hand truck and/or pallet jack.
- Moves cartons of assembled product from workstations by hand and using a hand truck and/or pallet jack.
- Verifies correctness of components through visual inspection and reading box labels.
- Fills machine hoppers at various heights.
- Performs recordkeeping duties; including weighs scrap and records data.
- Performs traceability and lot control functions utilizing a hand-held scanner.
- Performs housekeeping duties in the production area.

- Must be able to work as a member of a team, have a high energy level and be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Education
Required Skills
- Must be able to bend and lift/move/push a minimum of 50 pounds and reach above the shoulder continuously throughout the shift (approximately every 15 minutes).
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for the entire shift.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English in order to communicate and understand relevant information relating to quality and production issues.
- Must maintain high energy level, be able to communicate with others and work effectively as a member of a team.
- Must have good vision in order to perform visual inspection duties.
- Must be able to hear warning signals and verbal alerts to avoid injury during manufacturing process.
- Must be able to discern shades of color and color differences relating to component parts used in the manufacturing process.
- Must be able to climb steps.
- Must be able to read various inspection gages.
- Must possess basic math skills.
- Must possess basic PC skills.
