Position Title: Shipping Associate - 1st Shift

Shipping Associate Responsibilities: - Process outgoing shipments - Monitor and load outbound shipments on the scheduled ship date to meet or exceed all shipping schedule goals - Determine and develop best packaging options for shipments, ensuring the security and safety of the product - Develop and maintain accurate outbound shipping documentation for all domestic and international outbound shipments to include bills-of-lading and packing lists Requirements for Shipping Associate: - High School Diploma or equivalent; and 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience in shipping, receiving, negotiations and transportation logistics in a manufacturing environment preferred - Forklift certification and experience - Knowledge of shipping department processes and procedures - Customer service focus with strong attention to detail. - Highly organized with sense of urgency and ability to multi-task - Self- motivated, self-starter who can perform duties with minimal amount of supervision janesville@qpsemployment.com IND028 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
