Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Vice President to expand existing work at the Department of Defense and develop new business in the Department of Defense and Intelligence sectors, with a focus on cyber services.
This position currently requires a hybrid schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.
Responsibilities
The Vice President will be directly responsible for P&L, revenue growth, and successfully executing projects and programs to completion within scope and budget. Required competencies include:
- Leadership - Strong executive-level leadership with an ability to develop and drive business development and capture. S/he will manage large client teams and be well-regarded by staff, peers, leadership as well as industry thought leaders, and will have demonstrated the ability and willingness to collaborate across organization business units to meet broader objectives.
- Client/Market Development - Work collaboratively with other sectors to identify, lead, and capture new contract opportunities by leveraging client relationships, with a demonstrated competency across all phases of the business development/capture lifecycle. Strong client relationships in the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community Services market are a must.
- Relationship Building - Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships across internal and external contacts as well as teaming partners.
- Business Management - Experience across all aspects of business management including profit/loss responsibility and accountability for results.

Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in the Department of Defense and Intelligence markets defining, establishing, and profitably leading business development and solution delivery with a proven track record of success
- 10+ years of experience in professional services selling/delivering financial services
- Broad knowledge of processes in the Federal acquisition environment
- Experience managing large, complex project teams, delivering solutions to government clients
- Ability to identify new opportunities for government solutions; managing full life-cycle business development capture; and managing the profitability of engagement teams
- Proven track record of successfully winning multiple vehicle types --IDIQ/GWAC/GSA Schedule/Full and Open competitive contracts and ensuing task order programs
- Ability to identify and qualify opportunities, develop capture plans and win strategies, and implement effective teaming approaches
- Sound strategic planning, financial management, budgeting, procurement, compliance, negotiation and risk management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, delivery and leadership skills
- A self-starter, creative, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and results-driven
Desired Qualifications
- Established network of senior-level relationships within the Department of Defense and Intelligence agencies
- Demonstrated success in expanding market share and developing new service offerings in the Cyber and Department of Defense sectors.
- Experience leading multi-million-dollar programs with full P&L responsibility.
- Proven ability to build high-performing teams and mentor senior leaders.
- Active participation in industry associations, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives related to federal financial management and acquisition.

For this position, the projected compensation range is $227,466 - $275,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
