ANALYGENCE supports HQ ACC Flight Operations Division (A3T) with combat readiness and training of the Combat Air Forces. Support includes technical and subject matter expertise to develop and oversee policy for ACC flight operations, aircrew flying training, mission operations, and formal training programs.

In support of this mission, ANALYGENCE is seeking an F-35 Functional Area Manager (FAM) to join our team. This position may require occasional travel. TheFAMwithin the USAF A3T is a highly specialized and experienced role responsible for managing the personnel and operational readiness within the combat-focused training directorate. In this role, your primary mission is to ensure that the functional community is properly organized, trained, and equipped to meet Air Combat Command's (ACC's) combat and training requirements. You will serve as a vital link between Headquarters-level policy and the day-to-day readiness of combat units.



  • Serves as the expert on manning numbers, ensuring that units have the right number of skilled personnel to accomplish the mission.
  • Oversees the deployment and redeployment of personnel within their AFSC, ensuring units are properly postured for global contingencies.
  • Plays a key role ensuring their community is ready to deploy and sustain operations as required.
  • Provides input and guidance on the development and implementation of training policies for their AFSC, ensuring they align with operational needs.
  • Manages and monitors training and certification processes to ensure all personnel meet and exceed standards for their operational roles.
  • Serves as the crucial liaison between the Air Combat Command staff, other Major Commands (MAJCOMs), and unit-level leadership.
  • Prepares and presents briefings to senior leadership (up to the General Officer level) on the readiness, health, and challenges of their functional community.
  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • 2 years HQ staff experience at the MAJCOM level or higher
  • 10 years of USAF fighter rated aviation experience
  • 1 year of recent F-35 program experience, OR 1 year of recent F-35 or F-22 flight experience
