Meet The Team

As the Chief of Staff to the Senior Vice President, Global Networking Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and serving as a trusted advisor. This is a high-impact role within the Global Networking Sales leadership team and organization, with a primary focus on:

  • Preparing and/or coordinating materials for customer and partner meetings, internal meetings and industry events, in close partnership with relevant teams
  • Manage follow-ups from internal and external meetings and ensure ongoing tracking of agreements and actions. Prioritize and manage conflicts actively
  • Cross functional projects across executive team to ensure follow up on key actions for customers and partners.
  • Collaborating closely with the leadership and extended teams to prepare for a variety of key events, including internal kickoffs, Cisco Live, and Partner Summit, etc.
  • Leading global, cross-functional teams to complete strategic projects

Your Impact

This role will work in tight connection with the SVP of Global Networking Sales, as well as the leadership team as they shape and transform the company's future, driving additional growth for a ~$20B business.

The Chief of Staff will drive organizational priorities, processes and agendas for Global Networking Sales SLT meetings.

This role will enable the leader, putting strategy into execution across organizational boundaries and offer business perspectives on key strategic decisions. They will work closely with the Strategy & Operations team to connect the dots, focus on customer priorities, and establish accountable and outcome-oriented practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of dynamic and successful experience working across cross-functional teams
  • 5+ years of experience with Leadership
  • Experience in business planning, strategy & operations
  • Experience with budget management
  • Experience working in a global organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA or equivalent
  • Credible with high integrity, and the ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality
  • Effective interpersonal skills and strong executive presentation, development and delivery skills
  • Proven capability in verbal and written communications skills for a globally distributed team
  • Highly organized and able to think ahead to help executives prepare for internal and external engagements
  • Fast thinker, able to adapt and agile to react to a changing environment
