We're Watts. Together, we're reimagining the future of water.

We feel proud every day about what we do. We're all part of the same crucial mission, no matter what function we support -- it's to provide safe, clean water for the world, and to protect our planet's most valuable resource.

What we do:

For 150 years, Watts has built best-in-class products that are trusted bycustomers in residential and commercial settings across the world. We areat theforefront of innovation, working with cutting-edge technology to provide smart andconnected, sustainable water solutions for the future. Watts is a leading brand with aquality reputation - and we have a dynamic future ahead.

The Finite Production Planner is responsible for creating a detailed, time-phased production plan by SKU and by line at the shift, hour, and minute level, tailored to the specific requirements of the assets in scope. The Planner balances required and available capacity to optimize service levels, working capital, and capacity costs.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring on-time, in-full delivery performance, directly impacting customer satisfaction and trust. By minimizing delays, maximizing schedule adherence, and ensuring product availability when and where needed, the Planner supports a reliable and responsive supply chain that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

YOU WILL:

Planner and Analyst

  • Translate the plans into a detailed finite production schedule
  • Generate a granular sequence of near-term process orders that fulfill planned orders while respecting asset constraints, labor availability, and changeover logic
  • Maximize adherence to the daily schedule by optimizing allocation of production resources and minimizing last-minute adjustments
  • Monitor volume requirements and actively participate in S&OP and S&OE processes by evaluating schedule change needs, assess downstream impacts, and ensure alignment between long-term plans and short-term execution

Customer Focus

  • Proactively flag service risks and schedule adherence impacts when near-term orders deviate from demand or replenishment plans
  • Ensure the schedule protects the ATP (available to promise) commitments
  • Ensure schedule changes are well communicated and impact to the customer is mitigated. Partner with S&OP and S&OE teams to align on planning impact
  • Support root cause analysis when Line Fill Rate falls below 98%

Executional Partner

  • Collaborate daily with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to resolve execution gaps, address delays, and incorporate planned downtime or holds
  • Address emergent issues with minimal disruption to output or service levels
  • Conduct "what-if" scenario modeling to assess the impact of unplanned events (e.g., equipment failure, urgent orders) and recommend schedule adjustments

Systems and Data Owner

  • Monitor finite scheduling master data, including run-rates, yields, constraint logic, changeover matrix, and sequencing rules
  • Track actual performance vs. plan; adjust data models to reflect observed throughput or output issues.

Reporting and RCA

  • Monitor key metrics: schedule adherence, line fill rate, production attainment
  • Support S&OP and S&OE processes by presenting schedule risks, recovery plans, and driver metrics

Process Improvement

  • Participate in and propose continuous improvement events (e.g. Kaizen) to enhance schedule stability and reduce lead times
  • Share best practices with peers across lines, factories, or regions to strengthen enterprise-wide scheduling maturity

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
  • APICS certification preferred
  • 4+ years' experience in production scheduling or planning in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong MRP knowledge
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Excellent knowledge in capacity planning
  • Global supply chain & production control knowledge, and lean and inventory reduction techniques
  • Good mathematical and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and computer skills
  • Ability to influence across functions without direct authority
