Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Functional Nursing Director of Transplant, or appropriate designee, and in accordance with established procedures, the Organ Placement Coordinator receives, evaluates, and coordinates organ import offers for the CTC. The Organ Placement Coordinator is responsible for the organ placement for transplant and research, coordination of transportation, and communication to transplant center staff for all import organ donors. Frequent communication with transplant surgeons and transplant coordinators. HOURS
Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing, EMS, healthcare studies, or biology. 4+ years of relevant experience in medical field or health sciences (EMT, Paramedic, LPN, EMS dispatcher) and/or equivalent work experience may be substituted for education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary Range: Minimum 33.90/hour - Maximum 55.98/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
