Identify opportunities that support improved quality, growth and financial performance. Responsibilities
- Research local, regional, state, national and international market trends that impact State Sponsored Programs.
- Perform independent research to assist in the identification of external market threats and opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities of focus.
- Develop recommendations based on findings.
- Interpret information and develop concise presentations; write reports, white papers and guidance documents to inform State Sponsored Programs product strategy.
- Collaborate directly with sales, marketing, government relations, quality management, etc., to develop statistical market trend reports and communications.
- Present market trend findings to leadership across the organization.
- Attend conferences, trade shows, etc. to support research and market education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in marketing, market research or related field (Required)
- A master's degree may be substituted for one year of experience (Required)
- Work experience in a managed care plan and/or working knowledge of state sponsored health care programs (Preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with all types/levels of audience (Required)
- Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc. (Required)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in analyzing large data sets - Excel, SAS, etc. (Required)
