Summary of Job

Gather market intelligence to inform strategic and operational guidance for State Sponsored Programs products. Evaluate external market including competitive intelligence, industry trends, regulatory and government activities. Produce reports and analyses to inform State Sponsored Programs product strategy. Identify opportunities that support improved quality, growth and financial performance.

Responsibilities



  • Research local, regional, state, national and international market trends that impact State Sponsored Programs.
  • Perform independent research to assist in the identification of external market threats and opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities of focus.
  • Develop recommendations based on findings.
  • Interpret information and develop concise presentations; write reports, white papers and guidance documents to inform State Sponsored Programs product strategy.
  • Collaborate directly with sales, marketing, government relations, quality management, etc., to develop statistical market trend reports and communications.
  • Present market trend findings to leadership across the organization.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, etc. to support research and market education.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in marketing, market research or related field (Required)
  • A master's degree may be substituted for one year of experience (Required)
  • Work experience in a managed care plan and/or working knowledge of state sponsored health care programs (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with all types/levels of audience (Required)
  • Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc. (Required)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in analyzing large data sets - Excel, SAS, etc. (Required)
