Your Role at Baxter

At Baxter Healthcare Corporation, we're on a mission to revolutionize global compliance and governance. We're seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Financial Analyst - Special Projects to join our team and help shape the future of our operations.

Your Team

You'll report directly to the Manager - Special Projects and work closely with the Senior Director, Accounting Special Projects and ESG Controller and collaborate with a diverse team of experts, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, finance applications, and legal teams. Together, you'll drive compliance and governance initiatives forward and contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and controls that will shape the future of our industry.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive special accounting projects forward, including financial reporting, policy and controls, internal audit, and statutory audits.

  • Develop and maintain detailed records of legal entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Provide mentorship and support to colleagues on matters of legal entity management, compliance, and governance.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls to ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Analyze and interpret complex financial data to influence decision-making and drive project success.

  • Identify and implement standard methodologies for continuous improvement of compliance and governance processes.

What You'll Bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in special projects, financial analysis, or a related area.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools.

  • A proven track record of successfully implementing and managing complex projects.

  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.

  • A proactive and ambitious approach, eager to contribute to world-class compliance and governance initiatives.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
