What you will do
Reporting to the lead for HVAC and Controls North America, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting in the execution of integrated marketing plans and supporting marketing programs that drive growth for the HVAC segment. This role focuses on tactical execution, content development, digital campaign support, and lead generation activities to help increase market demand and customer engagement for Johnson Controls HVAC and controls solutions.

How you will do it

  • Campaign Execution Support: Assists in the rollout of marketing campaigns and initiatives aligned with growth strategies. Tracks campaign milestones and ensures timely delivery of assets and communications.

  • Content Development: Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop marketing collateral, presentations, email campaigns, and digital content. Ensures messaging aligns with brand standards and customer needs.

  • Digital Marketing Coordination: Supports digital marketing efforts including email marketing, social media, and website updates. Works within marketing automation, CRM, and CMS platforms to execute and monitor campaigns.

  • Lead Generation & Tracking: Assists in the execution of lead generation programs. Monitors campaign performance and reports on key metrics to optimize marketing effectiveness.

  • Market & Customer Insights: Gathers and synthesizes customer feedback and market research to inform marketing strategies. Helps identify trends and opportunities for content and campaign development.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with sales, product management, and other marketing team members to ensure alignment and consistency across all marketing efforts.

  • Customer-Centric Focus: Supports initiatives that enhance the customer experience and contribute to customer success. Participates in customer-facing activities and incorporates feedback into marketing deliverables.

  • Administrative & Project Support: Manages marketing calendars, coordinates meetings, and supports project management tasks to ensure smooth execution of marketing plans.

What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing support or specialist role.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, CMS, marketing automation).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of the HVAC industry is a plus.
