Admin Assistant II Path-DermPath Full Time 85620BR Job Summary This Admin Assistant II is responsible for performing courier duties in support of the Dermatopathology Service. Duties include daily pickup and delivery of specimens, supplies and medical equipment among the various labs of Dermatopathology. Must be able to discern the urgency of requests and prioritize deliveries. Coordination of the receipt of medical specimens from outside physician offices and labs. These functions are performed under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, which requires significant attention to detail in order to provide a high level of accuracy. Must also always hold self in a professional manner and be presentable. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $25.72 - $36.59 (Hourly Rate). The Department provides diagnostic pathology services in a wide variety of subspecialties with highly trained subspecialists who are recognized nationally and internationally for their expertise. The Department's research programs are diverse and interface with a wealth of basic and translational research programs that are a hallmark of UCSF. Our educational programs include a research-intensive academic residency program and fellowships in cytopathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal and liver pathology, gynecologic pathology, neuropathology and surgical pathology.
