Enjoy our video series featuring our own Manager of Patient Care, Andre Pells:Patient Care Manager - Andre Pells Schedule Details:This .9FTE commits to 36 hours per week, 8AM to 830PM, approximately three days per week. This position is every 3rd weekend and a holiday rotation. The Heart Care Unit is an amazing and dynamic 31 bed intermediate care unit caring for a range of patients including heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, open heart surgery, cardiac procedures, stroke, and a variety of other medical conditions. Our unit has a rich history of combining excellent patient satisfaction, technical care and patient outcomes. We pride ourselves on our Heart Care Unit teamwork, how we treat each other, the strong relationships between nurses and CNAs, how we orient new staff and the opportunity for CNAs to grow in their skills and experiences. What You Will Do:
The Health Unit Coordinator provides customer service and clerical support to Physicians, members of the health care team, patients, and families. Enters charge data and supports department operations. As a HUC you are responsible for the following: Performs charge entry on patient accounts to ensure charges are accurate and ethical.
