The Mechanical Design Supervisor leads the team and this person is responsible for performing a variety of technical assignments assisting engineers in the development of products and components. Duties include the development of detailed design drawings and related specifications according to engineering sketches and design proposal specifications using computer aided design (CAD) and drafting software. This includes drafting electrical equipment and components, wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, and layout drawings. This person will be responsible for designing product variations requested by TCI customers. This person is also responsible for documenting tooling according to requirements for manufacturing both standard and custom products.

Requirements for this position:

This position requires a two year degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or Technology. Preference for those that have had an internship and/or 1-2 years of experience in the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical equipment, or the equivalent.

Proficiency in 3D solid model representation using Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD programs is required. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer are required.

Please note: this is not a position requiring a bachelor's degree or higher. This is a Associate degree level of a position.
