ABOUT THE JOB:

The primary focus of this position is to grow both revenue and utilization within the vertical markets through new business development and an assigned national account customer base, providing storage solutions, expansion within the customers other divisions and new business opportunities. Identification and growth of customer base with National Opportunities within the Oil & Gas, Hospitality, Retail, Construction, Mining, Manufacturing or Distribution Industries will be the primary functions of this position. Works in conjunction with inside/outside branch sales reps and National Sales Center sales reps to acquire and grow national account business and ensure customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Recruit, negotiate and sign-on new national accounts, market development and building a strong pipeline of customers/accounts
  • Design and develop pricing strategies
  • Conduct market analysis and planning to identify business opportunities within vertical markets with our customers and prospects
  • Coordinate activities in support of the Channel, including Account and Market launches, communications and key metrics
  • Prepare weekly plans to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients
  • Proactively reach out to new/perspective clients to set-up meetings and presentations
  • Develop proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, and implement contractual agreements with accountability for delivering strong financial results
  • Work in conjunction with National Account Coordinators to grow accounts and in resolving customer service issues
  • Complete necessary reporting, contract documentation and negotiations
  • Build and leverage industry specific value messaging
  • Contract negotiations for renewals for expiring/delinquent contracts and rate increases

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-year college degree, preferred
  • 5 years of experience of demonstrated successful sales experience in a position that involved negotiating complex transactions
  • 3 years of outside sales experience, required
  • Experience presenting to C-Suite executives
  • Proven track record of new account growth and financial acumen
  • Excellent customer service and follow-up
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to multi-task with high degree of attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills
  • Communicate clearly: both verbal and written
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Up to 60% overnight travel

Base Wage Range:$137,900.00-$193,100.00
Individual rates are based on a variety of factors such as degrees or certifications, skill-level and years of experience, and include considerations such as expected overtime and variable compensation pay such as bonuses or commission.
