Position Summary

The Associate, Relationship Manager role for our Wealth Strategic Accounts team focuses on supporting the business development and relationship management efforts through the channels covered by the team including wealth management, financial institutions, variable annuities, and retirement. This position plays a critical role in achieving asset growth and increasing market share within this segment.

This individual will be highly motivated and combine an empathetic interpersonal style with the analytical rigor needed to drive clear, impactful outcomes. Essential Duties

    Strategy Development
    • Actively participate in all aspects of designing and implementing a strategic sales approach to the various markets covered by the WSA Team in the US and Canada
    • Provide input and coordinate/perform analytics around product analysis, prospect analysis, and competitor analysis. This will sometimes involve requesting and coordinating analysis from other teams, and will often involve conducting primary research in various databases
    • Attend internal meetings with senior members of the WSA Team to assist with preparation and follow up.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Prepare and organize correspondence, documents, presentations, and spreadsheets for meetings with senior management and stakeholders.
    • Collect, analyze, and report on distribution metrics and KPIs.
    • Utilize Salesforce to optimize sales operations and generate reports on project progress and deliverables.
    • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and insights that support strategic decision-making.
    • Assist Sales and Finance leadership with quarterly strategy and planning, including forecasting and financial metric analysis.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage cross-functional projects within the Distribution business, coordinating with the broader organization.
    • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
    • Coordinate with various teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Sales & Relationship Management Activities
    • Directly assist the Senior Relationship Managers with prospect meeting preparation and follow-up, with meeting attendance whenever practical
    • Help to design and manage targeted campaigns for specific products
    • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and advisor needs to inform strategy development and product positioning.
    • Educational Events: Organize or participate in webinars, seminars, and conferences targeting advisors, positioning the firm as a thought leader in the industry and within each firm.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree. Preference in Finance, Business, or a related field, but not required.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a professional office setting
  • In-depth understanding of the investment landscape, products, and the specific needs of advisors
  • Experience in an investment management firm, preferably in a sales organization
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Salesforce or similar CRM software preferred

Estimated Compensation:

Base Salary: For a NY & CA based position, the base salary is $125k.

Other Compensation:In addition to the base salary, this position will be eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
