 In the role of Civil Engineer, we'll count on you to: 
      
 Design and plan production for general civil on a wide variety of projects, including site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, site utilities, and associated civil engineering activitiesPerform quantity calculationsPrepare specifications and contract documentsPerform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and proceduresMake decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as neededFunction as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects as needed, but project management is not the sole focus of this positionSupervise a small staff of professionals and technicians as neededPerform QC reviews for work performed by junior and mid-level engineers and/or designersWork with senior engineers and technical leaders to identify and develop specific technical expertise and will attend training and seminars focused on further development and understanding of complex concepts related to their disciplinePerform other duties as needed
 Due to client contract requirements, US-born citizenship status is required.
 
 
     
 Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering5+ years of civil design experienceExperience using standard industry design software required (Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley Open Roads, Bentley InRoads, Openflows)Strong written and verbal communication skillsPrevious consulting firm experience desiredSome travel may be requiredPreference given to local candidates

       Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example:
