Position Title: Mine Services Belt Manager Location: Green River, WY Key Responsibilities: * Ensures safe operations, has the "courage to care" and promotes awareness and compliance to all safety policies * Proactively manages cost and identifies opportunities for cost reduction * Ensure operational discipline by following daily standard work processes and KPI reporting; monitors, measures, and audits department leaders to ensure accountability for adherence to daily standard work processes * Promotes and models open and honest communication * Executes and enforce the Performance Management Process * Proactively coaches and develops team members * Role models culture and core values of the organization * Overall ore conveyance system upkeep and planning * Mine operations support * Overall mine outage coordination * Budget and forecast preparation of mine ore conveyance system * Ceridian Dayforce timekeeping Activities: * Daily Safety Meeting participation * Supports production requirements * Coordinates work with other departments to meet planned operational targets * Coordinates * Monitors and facilitates cost reduction plans * Ensures availability of belt components * Ensure ore conveyance components meet expected life * Coordinate with vendors/engineering on conveyance design and improvements * Optimize conveyance designs and layouts * Provides relief for Services department supervisors * Conducts inspections of mine areas * Optimizes delivery of services functions * Facilitate training in business unit * Assists in preparation of department budget * Schedules belt moves and section operation * Day to day coordination, oversight, and support of operating plans for production, maintenance, and service groups (belt moves and main line belts, etc.) * Provides mentorship to the area assigned Front Line Leaders, including the support of training and leadership development * Oversee front line supervisor work orders and is responsible for work order inputs * Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of section and mainline belt systems * Other duties as assigned Skill, Capability and Educational Requirements: * B.S. in Mine, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3 years of mining experience (underground strongly preferred), OR High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years mining experience (underground strongly preferred) * Wyoming Mine Foreman Papers - Underground Trona, or ability to obtain within one year of being awarded the position. * Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in an underground mine, preferred * Demonstrated leadership and drive for results * Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook. * SAP skills preferred Final determination on pay grade and salary will be made by HR and company leadership holistically considering the candidate's education, experience, past performance, demonstrated leadership and influence.
