We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Marketing Specialist II on our Marketing & Membership Experience team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.

This position will provides coordination and execution support
to the Member Engagement Team in promoting key programs and campaigns that
drive membership growth and engagement. Assists in the implementation of
marketing and communication initiatives, supports event logistics, and collaborates
with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate
delivery of materials. Helps create and update promotional content and monitors
performance metrics to support ongoing improvements. Also responsible for the
coordination of creative asset development and day-to-day program logistics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports marketing and program implementation

  • Coordinate marketing tactics across digital, print, and video channels to support member engagement with key member programs and segment campaigns
  • Provide support for events, workshops, and conferences through scheduling, logistics, and material preparation
  • Help maintain project records and timelines, including coordination with vendors and internal teams, as well as generate reports
  • Coordinate contract and order tracking for promotional items and giveaways
  • Support communication across departments and with external partners to ensure alignment on execution of marketing tactics
  • Help track usage of marketing assets and provide input for future updates
  • Coordinates minor website and material updates as assigned
  • Support collaboration with internal and external designers and copywriters to develop creative assets

Supports the execution of events and programs

  • Provide on-site assistance at meetings and events as needed
  • Help coordinate logistical elements of programs and events, including scheduling, materials and vendor communication
  • Support preparation and inventory of promotional items and branded materials
  • Assist with documentation and basic budget tracking related to events, such as expense forms and check requests

Supports reporting and insights

  • Monitor performance of marketing activities and summarizing key insights
  • Help gather customer feedback and market information to support team planning
  • Monitor marketing industry trends and relevant news; share highlights with the engagement team during regular meetings

May include other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing /communications preferred
  2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in event marketing, content marketing, communications, or related fields highly preferred, or equivalent experience required; minimum of 2 years of health care-focused marketing experience preferred
  3. Experience assisting with planning for and executing on project/marketing plans required; experience with Asana preferred
  4. Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and Cvent preferred
  5. Some travel required
  6. Demonstrated ability to write promotional content and create marketing assets for a variety of audience types
  7. Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  8. Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and manage competing projects effectively
  9. Ability to perform in a high-visibility team environment as well as be a strong individual contributor
  10. Strong problem-solving skills and a clear commitment to teamwork
  11. Demonstrated sense of initiative and professionalism

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $72,706-$96,390. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration, geographical location, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
