*Description*
Job Description Summary: Specialist, IT Procurement is responsible for researching, processing and fulfilling IT procurement orders received from the end user community. This person will be responsible for working with identified vendors to procure hardware, software and peripheral purchases for the company. The Specialist, IT Procurement will follow up on new and existing orders to ensure that proper information is validated prior to purchase and order processing. Coordinate with end users the delivery of new units, track assets within the Service Now Asset Management system, and allocate existing equipment when appropriate. Job Responsibilities: * Respond and process IT Procurement request for hardware, software and services within the defined SLA's * Ensure all approvals and compliances are met * Work with vendors to provide equipment/supply request and ensure delivery time requirements are met per defined vendor SLA's * Maintain accurate procurement records in the Service Now Asset Management system * Monitor ticket queues and work with team to prioritize incidents and work tickets for existing units that require replacement * Manage software cloud and license keys * Arrange for disposal and/or relocation of hardware with identified vendor * Other duties as assigned Day to Day: * Work with procurement dept * Purchase hardware, own ticket queue, and work through new hire tickets * Inventory on days that you are on-site * Be familiar with portal, ticketing system, managing ticket flow count. Example: Monday there are 40 new hires - their job is to make sure they have equipment in place prior to them starting. They will look if they have laptop and mobile device, validating with hiring manger , confirming location, and being proactive - making sure ticket is processed to build team. Other tickets like purchasing and ordering from vendors. *Skills* Asset management, Vendor management, asset inventory, Procurement, Purchasing *Top Skills Details* Asset management,Vendor management,asset inventory *Additional Skills & Qualifications* -Although there is a lot of IT verbiage included in the JD, this role is not a "hands-on" IT position. *Experience Level* Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
