Associate Business Systems Analyst

This is a hybrid role and requires onsite work 3 days a week in our Newton, MA office.

The Associate Business Systems Analyst will help in developing business and systems requirements to be used as the basis for data products and processes utilized by Bright Horizons. Through a variety of means, the role will gather and document these requirements, analyze the data, provide recommendation and serve as a communication bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Business Requirements Management and Solution Development

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the processes, goals, requirements and issues related to Bright Horizons' operational lines of business and supporting systems including how each is used and how the systems integrate to meet business needs.

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to fully understand, define and document business requirements for software and/or process changes through a variety of means focusing on medium to high complexity projects, processes and functional areas of the applications

  • Conduct data analysis using enterprise tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Snowflake or other similar tools

  • May develop user documentation or training materials.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in data and analytics related degree

  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience

  • Experience with data analysis using SQL or similar platforms

Preferred Skills:

  • Good understanding of and experience with data governance as a practice, including enterprise data management, data lifecycle management, data anonymization and masking, data quality, data lineage, data privacy, data security, meta data management, data analytics and reporting, and artificial intelligence (AI)

  • Exposure to cloud technologies like GCP, AWS, Azure & Snowflake

  • Exposure to perform quality check on the data products
