Primary Responsibilities:



  • Serves as healthcare economics/analytics consultant for national and local market projects
  • Solves complex problems and develops innovative sustainable solutions
  • Works with minimal guidance; seeking guidance on only the most complex tasks
  • Collects, analyzes and performs quality assurance on analytic initiatives that consume data from multiple sources
  • Performs statistical and trend analyses to determine effectiveness of clinical programs (e.g. pre-post analysis, clinical trial results)
  • Works with a variety of teams to identify areas of opportunity to drive financial performance of programs
  • Provides consistent and timely communication on projects, results and conclusions from analyses

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 3+ years of healthcare analytics experience focused on healthcare data, and expertise in data visualization (Tableau, PowerBI or similar), data analysis, data manipulation, data extraction, statistical analysis and reporting in a data warehouse environment
  • 3+ years of experience creating SQL queries including data querying, manipulation and transformation, table creation, complex joins across multiple sources, subquery, indexing, and summary reporting
  • 3+ years of experience/proficiency with MS Excel including PowerPivot, Data Models, DAX, etc
  • 1+ years of experience performing healthcare cost analysis of Medicare Advantage, Commercial, or Medicaid populations
  • 1+ years of experience supporting provider contracting functions including retrospective data analytics, creating models and tools to support physician (professional) negotiation processes, and evaluating overall impact of proposed rate scenarios
  • 1+ years of experience working with basic medical and/or pharmacy claims and provider reimbursement methodologies (knowledge of CPT codes, modifiers, DRGs, Rev Codes)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Health Administration, Mathematics or related field
  • Proficient in using Tableau (PowerBI or similar)
  • Proficient at query techniques to access complex relational databases to develop sophisticated datasets resulting in insightful analytics
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, adapt to change, work well in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage a project from start to finish
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, follow development standards and effectively raise critical issues with potential solutions
  • Proficient in assessing customer needs and making required enhancements to analyses and dashboards


Soft Skills:



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present ideas and concepts effectively

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
