RN Supervisor
***$5,000 Sign On Bonus*** GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for the supervision, coordination of the activities, and scheduling of nursing personnel and assumes authority, responsibility and accountability for the operation of the Nursing Department to ensure that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained. Provides direct supervision to Charge Nurses and indirect supervision of STNAs. Is a resource for residents and families. Manages day shift admissions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS SUPERVISES: Nursing Staff EDUCATION: Position requires licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with current, active license in the State of Ohio Position requires licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with current, active license in the State of Ohio EXPERIENCE. Minimum three years' experience in a medical field preferably a long term care environment. RN Day Supervisor Continued, Page 2 SKILLS & ABILITIES: Able to effectively communicate and listen to families, residents, and staff. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practice and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care operations. Be compassionate, friendly, kind, and understanding of the needs of the elderly. Management and supervisory skills. Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, families, and support agencies. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with a wide range of people. OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
