UI UX Developer II

We focus on building intuitive, high-performing tools that empower insurance agents serving small businesses. Our solutions streamline operations and help agents deliver better service and value to their clients. We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Developer to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional user experience.

Position Overview:
As a UI/UX Developer, you will work closely with our product and development teams to design and implement user interfaces that are both functional and follow the AmTrust Design System. This role requires a strong understanding of modern front-end technologies and UX design principles.

Design and implement responsive, user centric interfaces using HTML, CSS, SCSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with product managers and backend developers to translate requirements into functional UI.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices across the team
• Use Figma to design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Build, maintain and style interfaces using Angular, Blazor and SCSS
• Ensure consistent design patterns, usability, and accessibility across applications.
• Perform UX research and usability testing to guide design decisions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure accessibility and usability standards are met across all projects

• 3+ years of experience as a Front-End developer, with a focus on Angular or Microsoft Blazor
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and well documented code
• Experience working with version control systems, primarily Git
• Experience using Figma or similar design tools.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and responsive design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
