Precision Assembly Specialist - Medical Device R&D

Hours & Pay



  • Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (onsite, Hudson, MA area)
  • Pay: Up to $34.00 per hour (DOE)
  • Employment Type: TemptoHire

You'll work in a collaborative, fastpaced R&D environment, assembling intricate prototype components in a cleanroom setting. Alongside engineers, you'll shape process improvements, have your voice heard, and gain valuable exposure to earlystage manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities



  • Perform manual and semiautomated assembly of small, precision parts for R&D builds
  • Operate and maintain cleanroom manufacturing and inspection equipment
  • Follow detailed assembly drawings, work instructions, and GMP/ISO process documentation
  • Record process data, build outcomes, and observations for engineering analysis
  • Collaborate with engineers to provide feedback and support process refinements
  • Assist in setup, troubleshooting, and validation of assembly fixtures and tools
  • Document deviations, lessons learned, and process updates



Daily Tasks & Requirements



  • Microscopic Assembly: Handle small components under magnification with steady hands
  • Process Adherence: Execute repetitive tasks accurately, following strict instructions
  • Data Recording: Enter build data and observations into digital logs
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate assembly challenges and improvement ideas to R&D team
  • Cleanroom Protocol: Gown, maintain, and operate in accordance with cleanroom and GMP standards

Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, R&D, or assembly technician roles
  • Experience in medical devices or regulated environments preferred
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools for data entry and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and willingness to learn
