This position supports Calpine Energy Solutions' Information Technology department. The Business Analyst Lead is responsible for overseeing and guiding the analysis of business processes, requirements, and systems to ensure alignment with organizational and departmental goals. The individual will provide mentorship and direction while coordinating with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business needs. Their role includes developing detailed business requirements, facilitating solution design, and ensuring that proposed changes are both practical and cost-effective. This is a working Business Analyst Lead position and as such the expectation is to lead a small team as well as continue to personally take on Business Analysis duties when assigned. Job Responsibilities The person in this role will lead a small group of business analysts responsible Analysis, Requirements writing, testing, UAT creation & coordination, and user support of assigned projects. Activities include:
Supervision of Direct Reports Provides oversight of individual contributor employees, contractors and third-party consultants, using advanced business analysis expertise to 1) Mentor junior employees and ensure their growth and 2) Ensuring third party consulting partner resources are appropriately utilized and produce the quality and timeliness of work expected 3.) Manage multiple meetings, projects, or project teams, and 4) Providing concise and honest feedback regarding team performance to management. Job Requirements
Salary Information - Position eligible for annual bonus. Salary range $102,603 - $151,338 Additional Calpine Information
