Position Summary: The Engineering Controls Certification Specialist (Hazardous Work Protection) is responsible for certifying and maintaining engineering controls designed to protect personnel from exposure to hazardous environments. This role focuses on ensuring the integrity, functionality, and compliance of control systems such as ventilation, containment, isolation, and interlock mechanisms used in industrial, laboratory, or high-risk operational settings. The specialist applies experience and technical knowledge to support a safe and compliant work environment. The specialist will Promote worksite or product safety by applying knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, and industrial health and safety laws. Health and Safety Engineers, Except Mining Safety Engineers and Inspectors, and industrial product safety engineers are the ideal candidate. This role is contingent upon contract award.
