POSITION OVERVIEW:

Wires electronic components for plating process. Utilizes various prep techniques determined specifically by product criteria. Must adhere to the building requirements and specifications shown in the MOP (manufacturing operating procedures) and BOM (bill of materials). Conducts inspection of completed work and cleans finished products according to established procedures. Performs heat tests on plated units. Load data into IFS. Conducts Bend test and record results. Inventory and order plating shop supplies. This individual must be able to take the direction from the production coordinator organizing plating priorities based off production goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED. Must have a minimum of 1 year of work or related experience. Basic mathematical skills with demonstrated skills in precision measurement. Demonstrated skills and abilities to read blueprint drawings and schematics. Demonstrated computer skills in word and spreadsheet software applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Production (Managers, Planners or Coordinators) to communicate any shortages or failures that may affect the delivery of shop orders or impact customer deliveries.
  • Monitoring, and determining the quality of plating processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards.
  • Reporting and troubleshooting plating process deviations and defects in finished goods.
  • Review backlog, expedite late or critical orders to ensure on-time delivery and minimal delays to production schedules.
  • Wires electronic components for plating process.
  • Inspect completed parts for conformance and correct count.
  • Weekly Bend test and document results.
  • Performs heat tests on plated units.
  • Inventory and order plating shop supplies by completing requisitions.

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00per hour

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
