Rank will be determined based on the credentials of the selected candidate. Responsibilities: The Department of Community Medicine has for over 30 years, taught population health skills with MD students and supports a recently launched a Ph.D. program in Rural Health Sciences. Successful candidates will support the mission and vision of the medical school via research initiatives, provide advice on technical elements of ongoing projects, develop novel approaches and initiatives to improve healthcare. Successful candidates will support the medical school's research initiatives, advise on technical elements of ongoing projects, and develop novel approaches and initiatives that will improve healthcare. Candidates who can contribute to the creation of a comprehensive data platform are particularly encouraged to apply. The candidate will also teach in the School of Medicine's curriculum, including MD tutorials, Population Health, and/or the Ph.D. program. This is a tenure-track appointment.
