SandyPines Residential Treatment Center is a 149 bed Residential Psychiatric Facility servicing children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. Qualifications Qualifications Applied Behavior Analysis- Position Summary: Job Description: The Applied behavior analysis provides Behavior Review, Comprehensive Behavioral Assessment and Individualized Behavior Plan for identified populations. Responsibilities include assessment, identification of target behaviors, hypothesis on function of target behaviors, data collection, creation of graphic display of data collection, narrative summarizing findings, design and oversight of implementation of behavior modification plan. Designs, coordinates and facilitates Behavioral-based assessment and intervention for identified populations with the specific goals to include reduce/eliminate the possibility of injuries to residents and staff. Increase resident's ability to self-manage by teaching and reinforcing their use of alternate, pro-social behavior. Increase staff understanding of the function of the resident's maladaptive behaviors. Increase staff ability to prevent these behaviors and increase staff ability to teach and reinforce alternate, replacement behaviors. Oversight of implementation of behavior modification plan and development/implementation of unit-based level/point system. Qualifications Education/Training:

Physical Requirements: Continuous verbal and written communication, hearing ordinary conversation. Occasionally hearing high pitched or low-pitched sounds. Continuous firm/simple grasping and fine manipulating of both hands.
