We are looking for an HRIS Manager to help us lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Human Resources Information System. As a Trex HRIS Manager, you will be looked to as an innovator and expected to collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll, and other departments to ensure the system meets organizational needs. This role is a key member of our Human Resources team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of the HRIS system.
  • Serve as the system administrator and primary point of contact for all HRIS-related matters. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex or escalated issues that arise regarding systems and data.
  • Oversee system upgrades, implementations, and integrations with third-party applications.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and system monitoring.
  • Develop and generate HR metrics, dashboards, and ad hoc reports for leadership.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to automate and streamline HR workflows.
  • Support the training of HR team members and end-users on system functionalities and new features.
  • Collaborate with IT, Payroll, and other business units to ensure effective system integration and compliance.
  • Responsible for financial oversight and cost management to ensure efficient resource allocation and fiscal accountability.
  • Continue to improve and upgrade HRIS through knowledge, experience, and "best practice" philosophy.
  • Lead the vendor relationship and stay informed of industry trends and new technologies.
  • Maintain system documentation, process guides, and training materials.

Manage and provide ongoing performance, coaching, and professional development opportunities for 1 direct report.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires 5% overnight travel to other Trex sites and for conferences. A valid driver's license is required.

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for leaders with a bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in HRIS or HR Operations. At least 2 years of managerial experience and experience with UKG Pro are required. We want to hear from you if you have previous experience as an HRIS Supervisor or Sr. HRIS Analyst.

SALARY

Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.

At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
