Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Partner Integration Specialist. Reporting to the Manager of Partner Integration, the Partner Integration Specialist supports the firm's Partner Recruiting & Lateral Integration team, and specifically, the lateral integration program across the firm's robust global platform. This position can reside in one of the following offices: Boston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, DC and a hybrid 3 day in-office/2 day remote working schedule is available. This job may require late hours and/or weekend work.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high level administrative support to the Manager of Partner Integration in the development and execution of various activities related to lateral partner integration program, including but not limited to: introduction/welcome communications, development of orientation schedules, and all necessary logistics to support meetings involving travel and/or virtual meetings.

  • Work collaboratively with firm administrative departments and practice groups to execute successful onboarding and orientation for all lateral partners.

  • Work in conjunction with practice group leadership, key partners, and administrative leaders to create an individual integration plan for each lateral partner and support the ongoing execution of the plan.

  • Provide excellent client service in directly supporting new lateral partners, engaging one-on-one to provide insights and recommendations for internal meetings to move integration initiatives forward.

  • Track and measure each lateral partner's integration process and identify strategic ways to drive overall success.

  • Provide support the firm's Partner Education Series and any training and development initiatives for both lateral partners and rising partners.

  • Provide support to the greater Partner Recruiting and Lateral Integration and Legal Talent teams, as needed.

Education and Experience:

This job requires:

  • a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university and a minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm or professional services setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional client service focus.

  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

  • Effective in a team environment; strong desire to effectively collaborate.

  • High level of productivity and strong work ethic.

  • Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands.

  • Ability to read and interpret general business documents, instructions and manuals, write routine business correspondence, and speak effectively with employees, clients, candidates, and external vendors.

  • A level of comfort interacting with all levels of personnel, including practice group leadership, firm management, and Chiefs.

For positions in Chicago, IL, the salary range for this job posting is: $80,500.00 - $128,800.00

For positions in New York, NY, the salary range for this job posting is: $91,500 - $146,325.00

For positions in Washington, DC, the salary range for this job posting is: $84,200.00 - $134,600.00

The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and the firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, firm or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
