We're looking for a bold, conceptual thinker and executor to join our team as Creative Lead - Social Media, social media. This role will lead the creative development of short-form, mobile-first social content that tells powerful, people-centered stories about upskilling, innovation, and transformation. You will define our creative vision across platforms, translate strategy into story, and guide in-house and agency teams to produce work that's culturally resonant, human, and distinctly Microsoft. You'll help position Microsoft as the go-to learning brand through ideas that cut through-and content that connects. As Creative Lead - Social Media, you'll be the driving force behind the look, feel, and voice of our social presence-translating our skilling mission into scroll-stopping, social-native storytelling. You'll own the creative process from ideation to delivery across short-form video, motion, and visuals. You'll collaborate across strategy, copy, production, and brand teams, mentor in-house talent, and ensure that every piece of content is aligned to our business goals and platform practices. ResponsibilitiesSet the creative vision and drive execution for short-form social campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.Lead concept development, visual direction, and storytelling frameworks for brand campaigns, always-on content, and major moments (e.g., Microsoft Build, AI Skills Fest).Oversee internal production of social-first content, working hands-on with copywriters, editors, and designers to deliver high-impact creative.Develop creative playbooks and templates to scale execution while maintaining quality and brand consistency.Collaborate closely with social strategists, content leads, and agency partners to ensure content reflects platform practices and audience needs.Champion innovation by testing new creative formats, incorporating trends, and pushing the boundaries of what learning content can look like.Provide mentorship, feedback, and creative guidance to internal team members and external partners.Other: Embody our Culture and Values |
