OverviewThe Director, Business Program Management is part of the Small Medium Enterprise & Channel (SME&C) Sales Enablement & Operations organization. This lead will manage investments that are available to field sellers and field executives to support them in accomplishing their sales and consumption targets. The investments are designed to support customers in reaching their business goals in an agile and accelerated manner. This lead will be responsible for running the Area Win Room which is a centralized place and process for all customer facing investment, managing the overall process from end to end. ResponsibilitiesBusiness Planning and ExecutionAlign with CSAs on Business Priorities: Collaborate closely with the CSAs to ensure alignment on business priorities and objectives.Develop Investment Programs: Create and implement investment programs that support and enhance go-to-market strategies, ensuring they are agile and effective.Maintain Connection with CSA Teams: Foster connections with CSA teams to identify opportunities for improving go-to-market strategies and the investment programs that support them.Identify New Market Opportunities: Continuously scan the market for new opportunities and develop strategic investment plans to capitalize on these opportunities.Develop Investment Strategies: Formulate and execute investment strategies that address identified market opportunities, driving business growth and success. Field Seller Sales SupportOrganize and Orchestrate Intake of Investment Requests: Efficiently manage and coordinate the intake of individual investment requests from field sellers, ensuring a streamlined process.Identify Investment Opportunities: Recognize and evaluate opportunities to invest in initiatives that maximize the deployment and consumption of Microsoft products purchased by customers.Coordinate Between Account Team Members: Facilitate collaboration among Microsoft account team members to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of investments.Review Customer Opportunities: Conduct thorough reviews of customer opportunities to support comprehensive deal assessments and help account teams develop strategies to enhance deployment, usage, and consumption of Microsoft products and services. ECIF, ACO, and Services InvestmentsConsultant: Serve as the go-to person with deep expertise for all investment offerings within the assigned solution area for the Customer Success Account Managers (CSAs).Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor and investment coach for field requestors, providing guidance and support.Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain deep relationships with program creators in Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Core to continuously provide field feedback from real customer situations.Effect Change: Implement changes where and when necessary to improve investment strategies and outcomes.Accountability: Be accountable for the budget, impact, and return on investment (ROI) for the investments within the assigned solution area.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in CSA, field role owners, field representatives, and End Customer Investment Funds (ECIF) stakeholders across the organization.Reporting: Regularly report status, insights, and areas for improvement to SME&C leadership teams.CultureEmbody our culture and values. |
