We are seeking a Quality Engineer I to join our Quality team. This is an entry-level professional position where you will learn to apply professional concepts and company policies to resolve routine issues. As a Quality Engineer I, you will receive detailed instructions on all work and will have the opportunity to develop a foundational understanding of quality processes within the life sciences industry. You will collaborate with your team to solve problems and contribute to the completion of project milestones.

Currently ISO 9001 certified, we are actively working towards ISO 13485 certification to further enhance our quality management systems. What you will be doing:



  • Assist in providing quality oversight for our products, including contributing to Material Review Boards (MRBs) and tracking subsequent actions.
  • Help identify, document, and report on product quality issues, CAPAs, and non-conformances (NCs) to ensure they are evaluated and resolved under supervision.
  • Assist analysis of routine problems and support the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist with the investigation of customer complaints.
  • Support the monitoring of external suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure the supply of quality materials and products.
  • Assist in monitoring Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant standards.
  • Learn about and contribute to the internal audit program.


Minimum Requirements:



  • A Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
  • 1 year of experience in a life science or related industry.
  • A basic understanding of quality concepts and principles.
  • Excellent computer administration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2-3 years of experience in a life science or related industry.
  • Work experience including internship/co-op in a quality or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA or root cause analysis.
  • Exposure to ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 quality systems.
  • Programming in Python/SQL experience.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as PLM, ERP, or MES.

Below is the base pay range for this full-time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one's skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company's total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x's equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program. During the hiring process, your 10x recruiter can share more about the Company's total compensation package.
