Staffmark is hiring a skilled Machine Operator in Santa Fe Springs, CA for a growing manufacturing team committed to quality and efficiency. Pay: $22.00/hour Shift: 1st Shift (Exact hours to be confirmed) Responsibilities: Set up, clean, and start machines using tools and checklists Operate and troubleshoot up to 8 production machines Perform routine maintenance and assist with repairs Handle equipment like tablet presses, coating machines, conveyors, fillers, and palletizers Support sanitization and equipment teardown/setup Perform manual and automated tasks including packing and inspections Enter production data accurately and review batch records Follow safety, cGMP, and PPE protocols Maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S principles) Support team as needed Qualifications: At least 6 months recent machine operation experience (manufacturing/packaging preferred) Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Able to lift 50 lbs, climb, bend, kneel, and do repetitive tasks Comfortable with powders and allergens Basic computer skills Team player who can work independently High school diploma or GED preferred FDA-regulated environment experience is a plus Why You'll Love This Job: We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, financial goals, and work-life balance.
