Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Contracts Administrator who can hit the ground running and take full ownership of contract administration responsibilities from day one. This role plays a key part in managing government and commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and supporting key internal teams.

Success in this role means demonstrating a clear command of your responsibilities and proactively managing all contract-related deliverables and assignments with minimal oversight. If you are adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do:

  • Administer, monitor, and manage the full lifecycle of prime contracts, including funding, period of performance, and compliance milestones
  • Draft and maintain correspondence, track deliverables, and ensure timely submissions
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready contract files in compliance with company policies
  • Provide contract guidance to leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Identify and mitigate risks, offering strategic solutions to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Support proposal teams with documentation, SF33s, reps and certs, and other contractual data
  • Assist with IDIQ and task order submissions (e.g., GSA Ebuy, Seaport NxG, OASIS+)
  • Conduct contract close-out procedures and deliverables
  • Interpret and apply FAR, DFAR, and other acquisition regulations as needed
  • Partner with internal departments to develop tools, templates, and process improvements

Expected Accomplishments in the first six months:

  • Fully transition into the role and begin managing contract responsibilities independently
  • Establish strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Deliver accurate and timely contractual reporting and compliance documentation
  • Demonstrate ownership over deliverables with minimal need for supervision
  • Actively participate in proposal and contract strategy discussions
Qualifications

Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with prime contract administration in a government contracting environment
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Strong understanding of FAR/DFAR and federal acquisition regulations
  • Demonstrated experience with NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Reps & Certs, POs, task orders, and GSA contracting
  • Recent experience using Deltek Costpoint (v7 preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice to haves:

  • CFCM or CPCM certification
  • Experience supporting proposals on GSA, Seaport NxG, or OASIS+ platforms
Additional Information

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
  • Constantly work with computers and other information technology equipment
