9 Position Summary
Measurement Specialist is responsible for routine technical tests and inspections on personal protective equipment (PPE) used for the protection of personnel from electric shock. This equipment to be tested and inspected includes insulating gloves class 3 and class 0, insulating gloves, sleeves class 3, insulating, line hose class 4, visual inspections of line hose connectors class 4, class 0, and class 4 insulating and blankets, insulating PVC shielding, hot-sticks, portable grounding jumpers, and hard hats. All tests are required to meet both ASTM and NAIL Standards. Computer work including the use of MS Office and SAP is also involved daily. The PPE Test lab and all lab personnel shall be required to meet, adhere to, and maintain all NAIL eligibility and criteria with required recertification. The measurement specialists will be receiving, pre-inspecting, washing, staging, testing, pairing, inspecting, storing, dating, packaging, shipping, and all required paperwork of PPE to storerooms on time and accurately following rotational schedule and all procedures and policies. Minimum Skills Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization
Possess a valid driver's license with a history of a safe driving record in accordance with CPSE policies, procedures, safety standards, and applicable laws and regulations
