Department OverviewDRN, a Motorola Solutions company, equips LPR cameras to scan license plates every day, building up a historical scan database that serves the clients and the entire network in generating more hits and recoveries. Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) serve as the liaisons between the organization and its new, strategically important and large clients in relation to DRN's Insurance vertical. They manage key account portfolios while establishing strong, long-term client and partner relationships. Regularly communicating with key clients and partners, they respond to and resolve specific queries as needed.

This Strategic Account Manager primary focus will be on Insurance customers and resellers in addition to a range of company products and services to assigned clients. The Insurance SAMs will suggest solutions, and innovative ideas that quickly and effectively meet client and project specifications. In addition to building relationships with clients, they have to be able to understand the needs and goals of specific clients and partners, and use that to introduce the company's products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and clients' expectations.

  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates client needs on an ongoing basis.

  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts

  • Communicate the progress to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Investigate clients' requests and lead solution development efforts that best address client needs

  • Always strive to provide exceptional client experience

  • Make sure all deliverables arrive in good order, on time, and fulfill clients' requirements.

  • Collaborate with our team to achieve sustainable growth and development

  • Develop, implement, and lead the strategy for each assigned strategic account.

  • Responsible for the success of the engagement and overall client satisfaction.

  • Build deep relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Partner with internal resources in order to drive additional value and expertise.

  • Assist with achievement of sales goals and profit plans.

  • Ensure a long-term, profitable client base

  • Monitor client satisfaction

Basic Requirements
  • Must meet MSI employment requirements.

  • This position may require up to 25% travel.

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • PC proficiency

  • In-depth knowledge of client relationship management strategies.

  • Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Great problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Team player.

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics

  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
