Description

Based in Orlando and reporting to the VP of Events and Partnerships this role will be responsible for overseeing the execution and operations of the City Cruises Live (CCL) Event Platform. This position will work closely with the VP in developing, creating, and implementing the City Cruises Live platform yearly calendar, manage Event Coordinators, create and maintain relationships with all Ambassadors, and ensure successful implementation across all ports where CCL will be taking place.

As an Events Operations Director, you will:



  • Report to VP of Events and Partnerships
  • $125,000 - 135,000 target compensation
  • Assisting VP in the architecture of the master schedule of events
  • Identifying and managing vendors related to the support of events
  • Assisting in the execution of contracts with vendors and artists
  • Publishing event analytics
  • Partner with port operations on event logistics
  • Build and maintain relationships with GM's, DOS's and other key team members
  • Traveling to our ports for scouting, developing, planning, and attending events (up to 75% travel)
  • Demonstrated skill in negotiating high-value partnerships and managing relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Experience with event planning in a corporate or entertainment setting, and familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, CRM systems, and event management software is preferred


Qualifications:



  • Experience in Event space preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in sales or marketing preferred, ideally within the hospitality or marine industries, with a track record of successfully executing events
