The Sales Team Lead is a high-performing sales professional who can drive revenue as an individual contributor while also leading, mentoring, and developing a team of sales professionals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is results-driven, and has a proven track record in direct selling with interest in leadership. This is an entry level managerial role and will provide exposure and training on guiding a group of individual contributors. This management development role is a great opportunity to take individual contributor skill sets to the next level.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent required
  • 5+ years sales experience (Third-Party Collections Preferred)
  • Knowledge and experience selling technology (SaaS) and contractual/transactional services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a willingness to learn and improve
  • Proficient with technology, including but not limited to Salesforce and all Microsoft Office Solutions
  • Can Develop and Analyze reports to reflect quantity and quality of sales activities
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Develop and manage a team of Account Executives - coaching and actively participating and aiding during qualification and opportunity creation
  • A strong desire to develop business maturity, leadership skills, and reasoning abilities

  • Experience or interest in establishing team strategy, goals, and individual accountabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn how to break down and articulate complex issues
  • Lead sales team, providing day-to-day guidance and support
  • Set clear performance expectations and help team members achieve their goals
  • Provide hands-on training, shadowing, call coaching, and mentorship to enhance selling skills
  • Promote a high-performance culture within the team
  • Manage daily administrative functions such as sales activities, lead / campaign / opportunity management, deal reviews, sales role play
  • Assist sales associates in developing sales strategies for specific accounts and industries, helping to identify target accounts and opportunities within the framework of the defined strategy. When appropriate, you'll coordinate with field-based sales on shared accounts
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and other projections as required using CRM on a regular basis to monitor sales activities, pipeline, and opportunity management for the local field sales force

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $54,200.00 - $84,000.00 annually. This position is eligible for both base pay and commission earnings. TransUnion commission targets are generally 20% - 50% of base salary and may vary based on position. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
