As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the customer experience lifecycle-from initial inquiries and onboarding to ongoing support for established clients. You will engage with high-profile customers, often handling complex needs that require exceptional service and attention.

What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma required, Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum of twelve months previous work experience in a service and support role
  • Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to accurately make independent decisions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Analytical; can grasps concepts and retains information
  • Demonstrate proficiency in everyday platforms used to service accounts, such as TUBS, Salesforce, OnBase, SCM, Microsoft Office programs such (i.e., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and PeopleSoft
  • Basic understanding of modern technologies and communication platforms (examples: social media, smart phones, tablets, etc.)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% when requested (to attend in-person meetings and conferences)

  • Maintains functional knowledge of new features, products and initiatives
  • Adheres to our established procedures and processes while also providing a best-in-class service experience to the customer
  • Basic technical support; acting as a liaison between the customer and internal departments
  • Ability to apply learned behaviors to determine when to escalate issues
  • Comfort level with general technical concepts
  • Respond promptly to inquiries received via email or Salesforce from customers (internal and external)
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of information/documentation received from customers
  • Perform actions such as basic accounting related to invoice inquiries and billing adjustments, business name and address changes, enablement code creation / updates, and product activations and deactivations
  • Special projects as needed
  • Document all activities in CRM to manage sales activities, follow-ups etc.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $51,700.00 - $75,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
