Laborer/LEO Job

The Laborer/Light Equipment Operator at Arkema's Calvert City site is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of the facility. This role involves operating light equipment, assisting with maintenance activities, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

• Equipment Operation:Safely operate light equipment such as forklifts, tractors, and other machinery as required.
• Material Handling:Load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
• Maintenance Support:Assist maintenance teams with routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Site Cleanliness:Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including waste disposal, sweeping andmopping.
• Safety Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Education:High school diploma or equivalent. College graduate preferred
• Experience:Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Skills:
  • Ability to operate light equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of maintenance procedures.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
