Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide. Delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel who provide services on five continents for a portfolio of customers.

Summary:

The Junior Computer Network Support Specialist will assist in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's systems infrastructure. This entry-level role supports the design and deployment of hardware and software systems, monitors network performance, and performs a variety of technical tasks under the guidance of senior IT staff. The ideal candidate will be familiar with standard IT concepts and eager to grow their skills in a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist in the planning and engineering of network and systems infrastructure.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components.
  • Monitor system and network performance, identifying and reporting issues as needed.
  • Perform routine troubleshooting and support tasks for end users and IT systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and support activities.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to support infrastructure upgrades and projects.
  • Apply standard IT practices and procedures to accomplish assigned goals.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of network protocols, hardware components, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN environments and common IT tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 1 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • IAT Level I Certification
  • Must have Top Secret (SCI Eligible)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working in federal or defense environments.
  • Industry standard technical and network certifications.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $76,000.00 to $85,500.00 annually.
