Sales Support Analyst

As a Sales Support Analyst - Industrial Coatings, you will manage the financial aspects of sales support, including consignment billings, credit initiation, and manual billing adjustments related to invoice discrepancies. You will be the expert investigating and resolving problems customer disputes regarding customer contracts, financial terms, and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and compliant financial transactions that support the commercial and customer service teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage consignment billings and initiate credits or manual billings to address quantity discrepancies or other invoice-related disputes.

• Ensure customer claims are processed observing procedures and have the necessary approval authority.

• Analyze customer contracts and associated programs, interpret data and terms, including updating freight terms, payment terms, and calculating rebates and prebates based on contractual agreements.

• Provide financial support to the Commercial and Customer Service teams by resolving invoicing issues, correcting profile segments, and generating Business Intelligence (BI) data reports.

• Review Accounts Receivables to investigate and resolve unauthorized deductions, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation.

• Collaborate with the Global Business Services team to manage drop ship orders involving third-party tollers and oversee the processing of related invoices.

• Operate independently, managing weekly tasks and priorities.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related; OR equivalent combination of industry experience, training, and skills.

• 3+ years of experience in sales support, accounts receivable, or financial data analysis supporting an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Proficient experience with contract terms, billing processes, and financial reconciliation.

• Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools and data analysis to support financial reporting.

• Experience solving problems, investigating, and resolving financial discrepancies.

• Effective communication with cross-functional teams.
