What you'll do:
Executive Leadership & Team Development: Provide executive leadership, mentorship, and development for a global, high-performing procurement and sourcing organization, fostering a culture of continuous innovation, accountability, and strategic business partnership. Global Procurement Strategy & Execution: Define, develop, and meticulously execute comprehensive, global procurement and sourcing strategies that are intrinsically aligned with overarching corporate objectives, driving substantial cost savings, mitigating risk, and enhancing enterprise value. Process Transformation & Optimization: Spearhead the end-to-end transformation and optimization of all global procurement processes, from strategic sourcing to payment, leveraging advanced technology, automation, and best practices to dramatically enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and optimize the user experience across all business units. Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Forge and cultivate robust, collaborative relationships with executive leadership and internal stakeholders across all departments and global regions, acting as a trusted strategic advisor to understand their critical business needs, influence decision-making, and ensure enterprise-wide adherence to global procurement policies and procedures. Advanced Negotiation & Vendor Management: Oversee and personally lead complex global RFI, RFQ, and multi-million dollar negotiation processes, ensuring optimal pricing, favorable terms, and the cultivation of strategic, high-value vendor partnerships that directly drive business impact and innovation. Legal & Compliance Oversight: Collaborate closely with Legal Counsel to meticulously review, strategically negotiate, and finalize complex global binding agreements, ensuring stringent compliance with all applicable international laws and regulations while comprehensively safeguarding the company's financial and operational interests. Technology & Analytics Vision: Champion the strategic adoption, optimization, and continuous evolution of advanced procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, NetSuite, advanced analytics platforms) to maximize functionality, ensure data integrity, and enable sophisticated reporting and predictive analytics capabilities. Performance Measurement & Business Impact: Develop and implement robust, enterprise-wide reporting and advanced analytics frameworks to provide real-time insights into global spend, project progress, identify disruptive optimization opportunities, and definitively demonstrate the quantifiable business impact and ROI of all procurement initiatives. Cross-Functional & Corporate Strategic Planning: Actively participate as a key member of the senior leadership team in cross-functional strategic planning sessions, identifying future global procurement needs, anticipating market shifts, and proactively positioning the organization for innovation and competitive advantage.
Experience you'll bring:
Executive Procurement Leadership: 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Global Procurement, Sourcing, and/or Supply Chain Management, with a proven track record of transforming functions and delivering significant, measurable business impact at an executive level. Strategic & Operational Excellence: Demonstrated expertise in architecting and executing global procurement strategies that streamline complex processes, optimize spend, and generate substantial enterprise-wide value. Exceptional Business Acumen: Superior analytical, strategic problem-solving, and decisive decision-making abilities, with a keen focus on detail and a robust process-driven approach to global operations. Executive Communication & Influence: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence senior leadership and manage complex stakeholder relationships across diverse global cultures. Advanced Data & Systems Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools, coupled with extensive experience in leading the implementation and optimization of enterprise-level procurement and financial systems (e.g., Coupa, NetSuite, SAP Ariba).
Requirements:
Extensive global experience in Indirect and Direct Spend Sourcing Categories, with a deep understanding of international market dynamics, supply chain risks, and best practices. Proven experience leading procurement transformations within a rapidly growing, global, or highly complex organizational structure. Requires a minimum of 15 years of related or equivalent experience; or 10+ years and an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master's in Supply Chain Management, or a related field).

The annual US base salary range for this role is $ 175,700 - $ 244,000 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location.
